26. Come around sundown, when the wind picks up and the tip of your nose blushes a pink that competes with the streaking silky silence of a day nearing dark. Come around sundown, when the stars start to peak around the setting sun, and our feet yearn to run bare on cold-stricken sand towards a sinking sea shimmering champagne. Come around sundown, when our barriers are weak and our legs are tired from carrying the weight of a love left untouched during sunup. Come around sundown, and we can fall into curtains of comfortable black, seeing stars with the moon on our backs. Come around. December 11 2019 22.41
